THIRD GENERATION

7. Robert C. Marquis was born in 1821 in Indiana. He died in 1885 in Wells County, Indiana. He was buried in 1885 in Bluffton, Wells County, Indiana. Robert C. Marquis and other members of his family are buried at the Old Bluffton Cemetery, located on Oak Road, east of Wabash Avenue.

He was married to Martha J. Riddle on Nov 27 1845 in Wells County, Indiana. Martha J. Riddle was born in 1824. She died in 1907 in Wells County, Indiana. She was buried in 1907 in Bluffton, Wells County, Indiana. Martha is buried along with her husband Robert C. at Old Bluffton Cemetery. Robert C. Marquis and Martha J. Riddle had the following children:

11 i. John Marquis was born in 1856 in Wells County, Indiana. He died on Jan 5 1859 in Wells County, Indiana.
12 ii. James Marquis died on Jan 28 1850 in Wells County, Indiana.
13 iii. Orelin Marquis was born in Wells County, Indiana.
14 iv. Ellebelle Marquis was born in Wells County, Indiana.
15 v. Miriam Marquis died on May 30 1858 in Wells County, Indiana. She was born in Wells County, Indiana.
16 vi. Emily Marquis died on Jun 11 1859 in Wells County, Indiana.
17 vii. Mary Belle Marquis died in 1867 in Wells County, Indiana.
