70. Thomas Lyman Marquis was born on Dec 9 1955 in Elgin, Kane County, Illinois. Thomas was born on a Friday. His birth certificate actually lists him as "Thomas Lynn Marquis." Obviously an error on the part of Jeannette Fairchild, Deputy Registrar of Kane County, Illinois that filed the birth record. Certification of Birth Record, Kane County, Illinois. File No. 2535, dated April 18, 1960. He was educated in 1990 in Elgin, Kane County, Illinois. Tom attended Lowery, Grant, and Gifford Elementary Schools, Abbott Junior High School and Larkin Senior High School. Tom graduated with high honors and has a degree in Computer Aided Manufacturing from Elgin Community College. He was a Quality Engineer. in 1997 in Elgin, Kane County, Illinois. Tom's work allows him to travel southern states and also to Mexico. Tom is most known for two things, being a musician and an outdoors man. He grew up playing music on guitar and drums. It was incredible to watch him vigorously play his drum set. He was great and rarely missed a beat. He also played guitar. Sometimes he would play in a band with his nephew Daniel Robbins. They wrote and performed their own music throughout their teenage years and were quite popular at high school dances in the '70s. Both wrote music for electric, but mostly acoustic guitar. Tom also played harmonica while Dan played guitar. They would often times drive into the "country" and play music at a park or secluded area. Writing and playing music had a big impact on his and Dan's life. Later, Tom turned to more traditional music following his passion for outdoor living. He began to travel more frequently to northern Wisconsin, Minnesota, Upper Michigan and Canada. One year he drove from his Elgin, Illinois home all the way around the Great Lakes, everyone of them. From Illinois, through southern Canada and then back through New York and Pennsylvania. To this day he vacations in Canada, fishing, boating, camping, playing music while being next to nature.

He was married to Jeanne Eileen Bliesener on Feb 8 1975 in Elgin, Kane County, Illinois. Tom and Jeanne were married on a Saturday. The best man was Tom's long-time friend Bill Volkening of Elgin, Illinois and the maid of honor was Jeanne's best friend Mary Burke-Monson of Chicago, Illinois. Another of the groomsmen was Tom's nephew, Daniel Robbins. The wedding was a late afternoon ceremony at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Elgin, Illinois.

Jeanne Eileen Bliesener was born on Dec 16 1955 in Elgin, Kane County, Illinois. Jeanne was born on a Friday. She was educated in 1973 in Elgin, Kane County, Illinois. Jeanne attended St. Mary's Catholic School, Elgin, Illinois, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic School, Chicago, Illinois and St. Edwards Catholic High School, Elgin, Illinois. She was a College Adminstrator in 1997 in Elgin, Kane County, Illinois. Jeanne is employed by Elgin Community College. Jeanne's mother is Eileen and she has a brother named Larry. Jeanne has lived in Elgin and also in Chicago, Illinois near Wrigley Field, the home of the Chicago Cubs major league baseball team. Angie's middle name is the same as her mother, which is after Jeanne's mother, Eileen Bliesener. She was educated in 1995 in Huntley, Kane County, Illinois. Gifford Elementary School, Elgin, Illinois. St. Lawrence Catholic School, Elgin, Illinois. Huntley High School and graduated in 1995.
child112 ii. Jeannette Grace Marquis was born on Sep 27 1983 in Elgin, Kane County, Illinois. Jeannette was born at 12:30pm on a Tuesday at St. Joseph's Hospital. Her middle name is after her Grandmother, Grace Marquis. She was educated in 1996 in Huntley, Kane County, Illinois. Jeannette has attended St. Lawrence Catholic School, Elgin, Illinois and Huntley Grade School in Huntley, Illinois. Jeannette is a very talented singer and has sung in Broadway productions in Chicago, Illinois. In 1994, Jeannette has completed her fourth year with the Elgin Children's Choir and performed in "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" with Donny Osmond in Chicago. Jeannette was part of a choir that traveled to Switzerland and Germany in July of 1996.

"The Huntley Farmside" newspaper of Thursday July 25, 1996 included an article about the trip on the front page: "Huntley Girl Tours Europe With Children's Choir, by Tracey Schwartz. 'It was really fun and I won't ever forget it,' was Jeannette Marquis' summation of her tour of Europe with the Elgin Children's Choir last week. The 12 year old Huntlian left Chicago July 12th for Germany with 49 other area young singers and chaperones. In Frankfurt, Germany the group joined six other choirs from the midwestern United States for sight-seeing and rehearsals. During the week they gave four performances in Germany, Switzerland, and France. They toured the Black Forest, Rhine Falls, Strasbourg, France and many other attractions. Jeannette raised about $1,000 toward the trip since last September through the choir's fundraising programs. They included bagging groceries at Cub Foods, washing cars, and selling ad space in the choir's concert programs."
