Steve has worked as a Telecommunications Specialist at Teltrend in St Charles, Illinois and is currently a Partner in Critical Communications, Inc., also in St. Charles, Illinois.

He was married to Yvette Suzanne Albright on Apr 26 1986 in Oswego, Kendall County, Illinois. Steve and Suzanne were married on a Saturday afternoon by Dr. Roy L. Chestnut, Valley Baptist Church. Their wedding day was unseasonably warm for late April, with the temperature rising to 93 degrees. Steve's brother Daniel was blamed for bringing the heat wave since he had come from Lexington, South Carolina for the wedding. Steve and Suzanne's wedding announcement was published in the Aurora Beacon-News:

"Yvette Suzanne Albright and Steven Todd Robbins were married April 26 at Valley Baptist Church, Oswego. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. Gene Albright of Oswego. The groom is the son of Patricia Robbins of Montgomery and Laverl Robbins of St. Charles.

Cynthia Stewart of Montgomery the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Kathy Albright of Oklahoma City, Okla.; Rachel Albright of Aurora and Diane Howard of North Aurora. The Flower girl was Jenny Robbins of Carol Stream. Greg Mewmaw of Montgomery was the best man. Groomsmen were Daniel Robbins of Lexington, S.C. and Jeff Robbins of Carol Stream, both brothers of the groom, and Tim Peck of Montgomery. The ushers were Joe Stewart of Montgomery and Mike Robbins, brother of the groom, of Montgomery.

The bride is a graduate of Oswego High School She is employed by Alco Dispensing Systems, Carol Steam. The groom is a graduate of Oswego High School and College of DuPage. He is employed by TelTrend Communications, St. Charles. They live in Aurora."

He weighed 7 pounds and 14 ounces and was about 20 inches long. Labor was induced and started at 5:00pm that Saturday evening. Tyler's middle names are for his mother's father Randell Gene Albright, and Lee is for his late grandmother, Patricia Lee Robbins. This is the child whose expected birth was announced by his late grandmother when she received the "Mother of the Year" award at Valley Baptist Church in May 12, 1996.
