Latest Project:  Retro New York City

New York City - A recent visit to one of America's greatest cities has yielded a special look at the city that is famous for its architecture and wonderful sights.  These photos were taken using special filter settings to produce an aged or retro photo look that takes us back in time to what photos may have looked like in the 1920's, 1930's or 1940's.  Click here to take a look and remember a time when fanciful architecture dominated the city.

Exclusive Photos:  Cestyll de Cymru (The Castles of Wales)

Caerphilly Castle - This fortress is the most awesome concentric castle ever built.  Constructed by the warlord Gilbert de Clerc on a 30 acre site, this massive structure in Caerphilly, Wales elicits the thoughts of how grand a castle it was originally when the local inhabitants saw the great towers rise. Many photos of the town of Caerphilly and the  tremendous castle that bears it's name can be found here. 

Cardiff Castle - A great motte and bailey style castle that was built over 1200 years ago.  One of the most wonderful sights to visit in all of Wales.  More than just a castle, there is the most friendly people in Wales at the castle.

Conwy Castle - This great castle with its very tall towers dominates the village of Conwy. Built by King Edward the II along the Conwy River in northern Wales.  Ancient walls still surround the town which connect to the castle.  Almost five hundred photos of the town and the awesome Edwardian castle, including a photo slideshow are here. 

Chepstow Castle - The first stone castle built is located on a sheer cliff high above the Wye River that borders England and Wales.  The ruins of this castle are some of the most picturesque from the heights of the ancient walls looking down into the barbican, chambers and towers.
